A multi-venue retail operation was re-entering every Wolt Merchant order by hand. We built a fully automated two-way integration between the Wolt Merchant platform and Odoo — handling orders, stock, and pricing without anyone touching a keyboard.
Every Wolt Order Was a Manual Task
A fast-growing multi-branch retail chain was handling every Wolt order by hand. Staff re-entered order data into their ERP system one by one, which created delays, regular errors, and no real path to scaling. With thousands of SKUs and multiple store locations, they needed a direct connection between Wolt and Odoo that could run on its own.
Manual Order Entry
Every Wolt order was typed into Odoo by hand. Slow, error-prone, and impossible to keep up with during busy periods.
Stock Discrepancies
Wolt showed products as available even when they were out of stock, leading to failed orders and unhappy customers.
Price Update Backlog
Price changes in Odoo had to be manually repeated on the Wolt merchant portal across thousands of product listings.
No Cross-Venue View
Each store operated in isolation. There was no way to see order volume, stock, or revenue across all venues at once.
A Two-Way, Real-Time Integration
That Runs Itself
We built a custom custom Odoo module that connects a multi-venue retail operation with the Wolt Merchant. Once configured, it handles orders, stock, and pricing automatically across every venue without any daily manual work.
Automated Order Processing
Every Wolt order lands in Odoo the moment it is placed, creating a Sales Order with the correct customer, products, quantities, and pricing. Discounts from Wolt checkout are reflected accurately.
Real-Time Stock Sync
Stock levels push to Wolt on a regular schedule so customers only see what is actually available. Each venue's warehouse is tracked independently from the same Odoo instance.
Automatic Price Updates
Change a price in Odoo and it pushes to Wolt automatically. No logging into the merchant portal. No updating listings one by one.
Multi-Venue Architecture
Each physical store runs as its own Wolt venue with separate stock, pricing, and order flow, all managed from one Odoo instance. Full control without the operational overhead.
Live Operations Dashboard
A purpose-built OWL dashboard shows today's orders and revenue, weekly and monthly trends, average order values, top products, and sync health status across all venues.
Error Handling and Recovery
Failed orders are flagged automatically, retried, and surfaced to the operations team with full logs. Every Wolt order is accounted for and no sale is lost due to a system error.
