Turn "your word against mine" into a signed record.
At pickup, the counter clerk snaps a photo of every side, the customer taps to mark any pre-existing damage on the car diagram, signs on the tablet, and the record is closed. At return, the same wizard runs in reverse. New damage auto-creates a damage record, adds a charge line to the order, and posts to accounting.
